Remember when Siscal and Ebert use to rate moves with thumbs up or thumbs down? If a movie got two thumbs up it was most likely pretty great! Well recently Rob and I got Netflix. Seeing as how Rob hates being on the computer ... picking the movies has been basically up to me. We have watched some good ones! Music within....Aawesome! Twilight...Loved it! Little Miss Sunshine...I could watch that again and again...such a funny/sad/quirky movie...The Ultimate Gift, WOW, the Duchess...very good...Okay and a couple that Rob wanted that I admit I didn't pay too much attention to, but they seemed good in the background while I was on the computer. They were Appaloosa, Casino Royale, and Being there (which is an old movie with Peter Sellers and Shirley Mcclain...I had never seen it and it seemed pretty darn funny, very different and good.) Well they have a button you can click that says "Movies you will LOVE" and they recommend movies based on what you have watched and rated. Well, I took their recommendation to watch .... of all things.... a documentary. I know, I know, I am lame... This one was called " Dear Zachary" A letter to a son about his Father. You see Zachary's father was killed, and his dad's best friend decided to make a movie and interview all family and friends so that he could one day show Zachary and help him to know the father he never met. Along the way you find out the murderer was Zachary's mother! Remember, this is all true, no actors... the story just gets more and more gut wrenching and the less you know about it before you watch it the better. There is a best selling book out there that Zachary's grandfather wrote. I may be looking into that. Rob is having a sleep study done tonight, so I thought I would watch this movie... which I knew would be a chick flick for sure, with Jillian. I told her what I knew about it...it was true, the dad was killed, his friend made a movie for the son. Then we watched it. It does get two thumbs up, but it also get's two boxes of Kleenex, one for each of us! Talk about a tear jerk-er! Whew, I feel like I went through the wringer on that one. I felt bad I dragged Jill along with me. We talked for a long time after the movie, it is one of those that get's you talking and makes you want to be an activist and make a difference. I am glad I watched it but it is stuck in my head now and in my heart, and I think I will remember this documentary for quite some time. I would say WATCH THIS, especially if you need a good cry!
Alright, lets brighten things up. Want to see the amazing Demo swaps I got?

Rose's Swing card:
Pretty Awesome huh? This is mine, we are going to make a card like this at stamp camp, using different paper, that will be perfect for graduation or masculine birthdays, it will have a gift card envelope inside!
Aren't they great? Just looking at them makes me happy! Whew, so glad Stampin' rescued me from that dreary feeling I was having after that movie. I think I will either sleep great tonight (cause no snoring, no hitting my husband and telling him to breathe) or I won't be able to sleep because it will be too dang quiet. Let's find out.... A ONE, A TWO, A THREE.....(okay, I see an owl and think tootsie roll pop, I am old.) Goodnight!
