For the second weekend in a row, my cheeks hurt. Look how red my face is in this picture with my long time best bud, Dianne. I just couldn’t stop laughing! Last weekend we were at a retreat at my friend Jan’s house, there were 12 in total that are in Jan’s group and we had a blast. Sleeping in Laurie G’s camper with me and Dianne were my other buddies Rose and Laurie W. I am not sure I should say we were sleeping, went to bed at 3 and up at 7 one of the days! Rose replayed her memories of convention and gave me goosebumps! Marie pitched in with her view from a 1st timer, and our IT girl Heather gave us memories to treasure forever, a disc of photos capturing all the important moments…add that with the disc of swaps Rose made us, and all the wonderful gifts she shared, I felt like I was there. Of course food by Dianne made us gaga, themes that matched convention, and everything with a special paper crafts touch. Jan is so wonderful to open her house to us all and I am always so sad when it is time to go home. I learned so much, I ate so much, I laughed so very hard my cheeks hurt. I love being in this group, the creativity is contagious and we fit together so well. I will have lots to show you when I get home. Did I mention I am in Maine this weekend? more on that later!
