Okay, I am getting so tired of these typepad problems, is it just me? It is so frustrating to write an entire posts, putting pictures carefully in, and then...dit dit dit...dit dit dit....frozen. I have to use the plug to shut my computer off because it freezes up so bad I can't turn it off any other way. UGH. So I hit recover, and there it was...GREAT! But wait...dit dit dit...dit dit dit...FROZEN. Now after shutting the computer down by pulling the plug, again, and going through the time it takes for it to boot back up, sign on to AOL (maybe that is the root of the problem?) Going back onto my blog...nothing, the post is gone. So, I write it over again, most likely way different then the first time, who can remember by now, by the time I am halfway through...you guessed if frozen. UNCLE, I give! and so I did. I waited two days and tried again. Recovered it, only for it to freeze. Started over, third time is a charm...right? Wrong. So here I am again, two days later. I am not even worried about what I should write or show or how I spelled anything because, honestly, I don't think this will post. I am waiting for the big freeze any moment now.
Good news is I have pictures of a gift I made for my boss. Here is the card and gift. The gift is a 6 x 6 fold out album. I was hoping he would use it on his desk with photos of his newest son, along with his three other boys...instead of taking out his camera every time people asked to see the baby.
He thanked me and said he liked it. His wife LOVED it, she claimed it for the diaper bag ... LOL ... typical.
On to stamp camp. I had only showed one card so what should I show you tonight?
Tropical? Dainty and elegant? Gift card holder? Jack Johnson inspired? I made the Jack Johnson card for my brother, and still haven't seen him to give it to him. I will wait to show that one.
It is my favorite, so ME don't you think? The beautiful portion on the top is actually just a piece of cardstock vellum put through the big shot in a new folder from the Brand New and totally awesome Stampin' Up! catalog. (Can I say I am in Stampin' Up! HEAVEN????? OMG there is too much that I want to use right away, I don't have enough hands, time... or let's face it... MONEY!)
Okay, it looks like this post is going okay so far, amazingly enough...but I am not posting from AOL so I am starting to wonder if that was the problem or if it is just a coincidence. I will try showing you a quick and easy card we did:
I love this folder too! Look at that texture, it looks like woven matt, but it is just cardstock that has been run through the big shot!
Okay, I don't want to push it, so I will post now.
