Giving someone a card that they cherish forever...one that you made for them...is such a great feeling. Going home from my stamp camp with a card in your hand like this one:
This sweet little clown brought lots of smiles at stamp camp. Fabric was used for the ruffle on his/her hat and we used beautiful vintage colors that were pulled to match the fabric. I heard many of my stamping friends saying they knew just who they were giving it to. I actually told one of my ladies she should give it to her husband ... with a message about "clowning around"...that got a good laugh out of her! This sweet little clown reminds me of a chenille stuffed clown I had when I was younger...wish I still had it.

Here is another "vintage" feel card for you, this one has a charm that can be taken off of the card as a little gift for the recipient! It can be used on a bracelet or as a charm for scissors, a camera, a phone, or added to a bookmark.
The key is so pretty, I wish I had gotten a better photo of it then THIS!

I must admit I added dazzling diamonds to the frame after this photo was taken. She needed some sparkle.
Although I hate needed to give Sympathy cards, a handmade card from the heart always means so much. I have gotten personal calls from people wishing to extend their sincere thanks for cards I have made for them. This simple and elegant card is no exception:
